What a parking ticket notice is

A parking ticket is typically a city or county civil notice about how or where a vehicle was parked or left standing. It is not the same document as an officer-issued speeding ticket, and it is not the same as a mailed camera Notice of Liability for a red light or school-zone speed camera. Confirm what your paper says.

Look at the paper:

Fines, deadlines, pay portals, and boot or tow rules are municipal. A meter ticket in one city is not the same amount or clock as in another. This page does not invent a nationwide fine or deadline.

Official pay sites printed on the notice are not Violation.com. We do not take payment for government fines. Watch for private sites that charge extra to pay a city ticket. NYC .gov tells payers to pay the city directly.

Violation.com does not sell a parking PDF. If you upload a parking notice, we summarize what the notice shows. It is not legal advice.
